NSW records 22 new locally acquired COVID cases

Premiers came out swinging today against the Prime Minister, and the federal government retaliated in style – sparking what is being described as "open warfare" between Australia's leaders.

The nation's latest outbreaks and Scott Morrison's decision to open the AstraZeneca vaccine to all adults, given they have discussed it with their GP, have blown open the divisions.

The strongest backlash came from Queensland today, with the government there blasting Mr Morrison's decision on Monday night.

This is where the outbreak currently stands: NSW has 171 confirmed cases, Queensland has 18 cases, the Northern Territory has nine cases, Western Australia has four cases and South Australia has five cases.
