Sam Frost cops backlash over vaccination stance

Former Bachelorette and Home & Away star Sam Frost is copping criticism after she called for empathy and compassion over her decision to not get a Covid-19 vaccination.
The video disappeared from Frost’s social media account shortly after it was posted. As the backlash grew from viewers and other celebrities, her entire Instagram account was wiped.
Former Bachelor contestant Abbie Chatfield was the first to take aim, saying that Frost was “trying to victimise herself” as a result of the backlash.
Chatfield initially said she had “chosen peace today” and was not going to respond to Frost’s passionate plea, before posting the blunt video.
Former Bachelor Matt Agnew also weighed in on Frost’s controversial vaccination video, saying that “at its simplest, it is a dog whistle”.
“An appeal to show compassion and empathy was made, while displaying none of those characteristics by choosing to put the lives of those who *cannot* get vaccinated at risk. Anti-vaxxers often skip this step. You are affecting others.” - Matt Agnew
Frost’s employer, the Seven Network, has since responded to the video saying that strict Covid-19 precautions have been taken during production of Home & Away and that Frost will continue to appear on the show.
“All Home and Away cast and crew also undertake Covid-19 testing three times a week in addition to other preventive measures. Sam Frost continues to work on Home And Away and follows the safety protocols in place.” - Channel 7 spokesperson
Frost is yet to make any further comment on the matter.
