Former Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield has taken to Instagram on Sunday to release a passionate video accusing Sam Frost of “trying to victimise herself” following her revelation she had chosen not to get the Covid-19 vaccination.

Home And Away star and former BachelloretteFrost broke down in an Instagram video on Saturday, saying: “There are a lot of different reasons people aren’t getting vaccinated – and it might be because of their medical history, their concerns they might have, they might have family history, it might be religious reasons, whatever.

“I want to tell those people that feel like they’re getting separated from society – well, I’m not vaccinated, and there’s a reason why I’m not, I’ve spoken to my doctor and my psychologist about it, and I’m going to keep it private.”

Frost begged for “compassion, kindness and empathy” for the unvaccinated. She deactivated her Instagram account later in the day.

Chatfield, who has been outspoken on social media about the selfishness of the anti-vax community, wrote on Instagram on Saturday: “I mean, it kinda speaks for itself. So brave to ‘come out’ as putting yourself as an individual above your community because you listen to misinformation.

“Another reality star bites the dust #love #light #empathy.”

She shared the comment alongside an image of a text message that read: “Just sitting here awaiting your Sam Frost commentary.

“Babe. I’ve chosen peace today,” Chatfield had responded.

However, on Sunday, Chatfield decided to no longer hold back and released a lengthy, expletive-fuelled video on her Instagram stories after claiming she had being inundated with critical messages calling her a bully for her comments about Frost.

“All these anti-vaxxers are raging saying I’m a bully cos of my post on Sam Frost but literally what I said was ‘babe I chose peace today’,” Chatfield said in the video.

“Like I didn’t say anything. I said, ‘babe I chose peace today’ pretty much speaks for itself. ‘Another reality star bites the dust’ because she deleted her Instagram.

“How was that bullying? I … didn’t add any commentary. Like these people want to be victims so badly and saying she was bullied to the point of leaving Instagram because of Abbie Chatfield.

“I didn’t f***ing bully her, I didn’t even go on my phone yesterday after I posted that. My phone died and I left it off.”

Chatfield said it’s ironic that people are accusing her of being a bully, but they are the ones bulling her now.

“These people are just dying to have a reason to hate people who just want misinformation to stop spreading,” she said. “They want to have people on the other side be bad people and bullies and not care at mental health like them.

“ … Why are you now all making posts about me tagging me saying to comment awful things on my page. Is that not bullying in itself?

“I mean I don’t give a s*** couldn’t care less but it seems a bit hypocritical for you to be posting f***ed up things about me because I’m a bully … get your story straight.

“ … I have no idea who you are, you’re all obsessed with me, if I see you in the street I wouldn’t f***ing recognise you because I don’t know you.”

Chatfield then decided not to hold back anymore on her opinion of Frost’s video, deciding to detail the problems with it.

“I didn’t explain this yesterday because I was choosing peace. A huge issue with her video was she said she felt segregated and like less of a human, so she’s trying to use the struggles and the oppression of people of colour in the past and currently, to use that idea of equality for her being unvaccinated.

“Also before any of you come to my DM saying well she has a medical exemption OK then she doesn’t lose any of her privileges like going to restaurants, she will be allowed to do the things we’re allowed to do tomorrow as vaccinated people.

“If you have a legitimate medical exemption you’re fine, you’re treated the same way as a vaccinated person.

“So it’s either her medical exemption isn’t legitimate enough for her to have that or she has it and is choosing not to use it. It makes no sense.

“Also the people who do have legitimate medical exemptions, are the ones who I see posting begging for everyone to get the vaccine because they’re the people who are at most risk for covid.

“They’re not doing videos crying on the floor talking about being a second-class citizen … it seems you want to victimise yourself.

… so if you’re sitting there spreading anti-vax rhetoric and spreading misinformation under the guise of you having a medical exemption it makes no f***ing sense and you’re hurting people who do have legitimate medical exemptions …

She also said the word bullying is used too much lately.

“ … the reason she (Sam) deleted her Instagram was because she was ashamed of her video. And the main issue people had was the use of the word segregation because she’s trying to victimise herself.”

It comes as former Bachelor Matt Agnew also weighed in on Frost’s controversial vaccination video, saying he wanted to “challenge a few of the points that were put forward”.

“Sam Frost has opened up with a lengthy monologue about being unvaccinated. At it’s simplest, it’s a dog whistle,” Agnew began, a political term used to describe messaging aimed at fringe or niche groups while appearing “superficially unobjectionable.”

He outlined his four issues with the video, including the below:

“The use of the word, ‘segregation’, is inappropriate considering the historical significance of the word. It should not be used haphazardly when it carries such immense weight and meaning to others.”
