A woman decked out in a red bikini has been filmed causing chaos on a popular beach, kicking, punching and spitting at a park ranger.

Police are trying to hunt down a bikini-clad woman who was filmed kicking, punching and spitting on a park ranger after he asked her to stop climbing on a WWII relic on a beach in Bribie Island.

Queensland Police posted the footage of the tattooed woman – who was wearing a red bikini top and black shorts – attacking the ranger before turning on other bystanders.

The footage was filmed by a beachgoer who witnessed the altercation, which unfolded out around 2pm on Saturday.

“At around 2pm, the two rangers were working when they noticed people climbing on a WWII structure,” a police statement read.

“When the two male rangers, aged 41 and 44, approached a woman who was filming another climbing on the structure, she started to assault both men physically by kicking, punching, scratching and spitting at them.

“The woman then left the beach in a vehicle.”

Bribie Island holds some historically significant attractions including vestiges of WWII naval defence fortifications, the most vital being Heritage Listed Fort Bribie, the dilapidated installation which sits on the northeastern sands of Ocean Beach, up from the shell of the Fort Skirmish bunker located on the northern part of Woorim Beach.

The footage, which has received more than 2000 comments and more than 215,000 views.
