Australian hotel launches lush Dyson perk in luxury suites
If you’re wanting to combine luxury with some seriously lush locks, an Aussie hotel has launched a new offering that will have you covered.
Forget packing a hair straightener or even a hair dryer, because one Aussie hotel is rolling out all the beauty stops in a new venture which will see high-end and hi-tech collide.
Luxurious hotel brand QT will from today install Dyson Supersonic hair dryers in each QT guest room across the country, as well as the brand’s Corrale straightener available for loan within each guest suite upon request.
As an added perk for those who get a little overwhelmed even by the slightest of technological advances, each QT room also features a instructional styling videos for in-room guests to be guided on how to create the perfect look without stepping foot in a salon.
The appeal of the Dyson Supersonic is that it aims to smooth flyaways (those short hairs that stick up and into the air) as well as giving your hair some lush bounce and gloss without needing to use extreme heat, which can be incredibly damaging to your hair.
For $600, bringing a dryer into each QT guest room is a huge investment, but one the brand believes will pay off for customers looking to up their luxury stay.
QT Hotels & Resorts director of brand Danelle Ayers said the new installation of the game-changing tools within each room across the country and New Zealand will only “elevate” the consumer’s experience.
“At QT, we want to make the ordinary, extraordinary,” Ms Ayres said. “[This offering] ensures a highly sought-after signature service experience is available to each guest.”
The hairdryer itself cost an incredible $86 million to develop, with the original launching in Australia in 2016.
Like other Dyson products, it has no visible blades – you can see right through its barrel – and it looks so futuristic, it’s the perfect contrast to the old-world charm that filters throughout each of the brand's hotel rooms.
