But with brands continuing to embrace mid-year sales, there’s been an influx of deals that will get you to lush destinations world without breaking the bank.

In this week’s Travel Deal Tuesday we have found three deals to get you on your next holiday for less than $1200.

Qantas launch flights to South Africa from $1049 return

On Monday, the Flying Kangaroo launched a massive sale for flight tickets around the world, with the airline predicting its cheap flights will change Aussies’ summer holiday plans.

The sale, dubbed “Around the World in 8 Days”, covers its domestic and international network, across all cabins.

But a new flight to South Africa launched on Tuesday, stood out to as the perfect deal to snap up for your next safari-themed getaway.

If you’re flying out of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide to Cape Town, it will cost you around $1049 return.

From the same cities to Johannesburg will set you back a little more, at $1149 per person return.

Travel is during selected dates from late July 2019 to early March 2020, with the fares on sale until 29 July 2019.

Ski in Japan from just $1099 per person

As one of the most popular destinations for Aussie travellers in 2019, Japan is the mecca of snow sports, famed for its perfect powder and sleek ski runs.

From just $1099pp, travellers can score 7 nights in Madarao, a premium stop for all ski fanatics in Japan, renowned for its beautiful slopes.

Staying at your choice of lodge/hotel, this deal with STA travel also includes a 5-day lift pass and return airport transfers.

Carnival Cruises to New Caledonia from $1149

If a few days at sea is more to your liking, Carnival Cruises have dropped a ‘Treat Yourself’ sale, giving Aussies a stack of options to set sail around the picturesque islands of New Caledonia and the palm-lined beaches of Vanuatu.

One of the voyages from Sydney to New Caledonia for nine nights will set you back from $1149 per person, with passengers leaving on 9th December 2019 on-board the Carnival Spirit.
