Jetstar launches cheap flights to Bali and Hawaii for Christmas
If you missed out on a Cyber Monday deal, you may be in luck to snap up a quick trip to Bali for a pretty impressive steal.
First Qantas launched pre-Christmas flights for under $99, and now Jetstar has dropped another silly season deal for Aussies who want to travel to Bali over the summer period.
Since Black Friday sales began, airlines have been going head-to-head in a bid to provide travellers with the best airfares to a range of destinations both locally and across the globe.
Today, Jetstar has weighed in once again, with cut-price fares to popular holiday spots like Hawaii and Bali
Travellers will be able to book a flight from Perth to Bali – one of the most popular international destinations for Australians – from just $129 or to Hawaii from $189 when flying from Sydney or Melbourne.
The budget airline carrier said other deals to international destinations included Fiji ($169 from Sydney), New Zealand’s Queenstown ($169 from Melbourne), Vietnam ($219 from Sydney and Melbourne) and South Korea ($219 from the Gold Coast).
The sale kicked off today and continues until next Monday night unless sold out prior.
There is limited availability and, as with all Jetstar sale flights, checked-in baggage isn’t included in the discounted price.
Budget carrier Tigerair have also launched their pre-Christmas sale, with the return of the ‘Pay to Go, Come Back for $1 sale’.
From midday, Aussie travellers can grab flights between Sydney and the Gold Coast from $75 return, and cross-country return trips from Perth to Sydney from just a dollar over $200.
Airfares are available across Tigerair Australia’s network, with the majority of travel between
29 April 2020 – 24 June 2020. To grab a bargain, customers can simply purchase an airfare
to their destination of choice and get in quick to secure a $1 return flight.
“Our Pay to Go, Come Back for $1 sale is a proven hit among bargain hunters who know
how to snag a good deal to any of our exciting destinations across the country,” Tigerair
Australia Public Affairs Manager Breanna Gaymer said.
“This is always our most popular sale and it comes just at the right time delivering an early
Christmas treat ahead of the festive season.
“These deals won’t last long so we’re encouraging customers to hurry in order to secure the
best airfares.”
The ‘Pay to Go, Come Back for $1 sale kicks off today and runs until midday AEDST Friday 6 December 2019 (or until seats are sold out).
