Fans lose it over insane $2.5m suite where Taylor Swift will watch Super Bowl

It’s the biggest sporting date of the year, made even bigger by the arrival of Taylor Swift inside a rumoured $2.5m luxury suite.

While most of us will be huddled around a smartphone, or at best in the 400th row of Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas — some Super Bowl fans will be kicking back in the most luxurious football suite imaginable.

Costing a cool $US2.5 million ($3.8 million) for the duration of the game — this suite is the most exclusive and luxurious in the stadium. And yes, you can guess who is tipped to be sitting front and centre while dining on Wagyu beef sliders, lobster ‘surf n turf’ nachos and bacon-wrapped hot dogs.

Having jetted back from her Eras Tour concert in Japan on Saturday to make it to Las Vegas in time for the Super Bowl kick-off between Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, Taylor Swift is expected to sit in a VIP suite that boyfriend Travis Kelce claims he covered the tab for.

The singing sensation will be joined by her parents, brother and his girlfriend — as well as Kelce’s parents, brother and sister-in-law. Oh, and of course Blake Lively and Ice Spice have also made a surprise arrival to complete the party of the year.

Lobster, Wagyu and even bacon-wrapped hot dogs will be on the menu.

The $2.5 million suite — which can hold up to 20 people — will offer guests popcorn in Super Bowl souvenir tins, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, barbecue burnt end burritos, glazed doughnut Super Bowl sundaes, carne asada French fries, surf and turf nachos, wagyu beef hot dogs and frozen cheesecake. The suite also comes with a full service bar and wait staff.

According to sports journalist and content creator Luke Sawhook, who shared the sneak peak of the offerings on TikTok, guests of the suite will also enjoy a number of specialty cocktails including ‘First and Tequila’ (with Casamigos Blanco, Cointreau, lime juice, and fresh lemon sour), the Sin City Sour (with Marie Brizard apricot liqueur, fresh lemon sour, and ginger beer), and The Rumming Back (with Captain Morgan, elderflower liqueur, golden passion mix, and a chilled ginger beer).

While some fans went wild over the suite experience, others questioned whether it was worth the seven-figures.

“$2.5 million?! It doesn’t come with a rolls Royce?” one commented.

“You could just pay 10k for a seat and go get that food at any $25 all you can eat buffet in Vegas,” another added.

And while it’s not confirmed if Swift’s new beau purchased this exact suite for his girlfriend, friends and family to watch the game — rumours are swirling that’s likely where she’ll be, given the cheeky hint he dropped on his podcast earlier this week.

“I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come,” Kelce said Thursday in an episode of his “New Heights” podcast.

Moments after arriving at Allegiant Stadium with her pals Blake Lively and rapper Ice Spice, Swift made her way to the suite where she hugged Jason Kelce, the older brother of her boyfriend.

Swift’s dad, Scott Swift, was also seen rocking Chiefs gear in the luxurious suite.

Thanks to Swift’s attendance, a whole new fanbase is expected to tune into the final, where Usher will perform at halftime.
