Bondi Beach is no longer recognised as the most popular Aussie beach in the world.

Well, not according to Tripadvisor’s most recent awards it isn’t.

Manly Beach bumped the popular eastern suburbs hotspot after it was ranked in the top 25 for the Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best Beaches title.

Beaches from around the world were ranked based on the high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions they received from the TripAdvisor community over a 12-month period.

Out of the 8 million listings, fewer than 1 per cent achieve this milestone — and Manly Beach made the cut, coming in hot in seventh place.
