Travel is feeling like it’s back now, more than ever, with airlines, hotels and even experience operators churning out the deals in every way possible.

And while Aussie borders may still be closed off from certain states and territories, that doesn’t mean you can’t start planning ahead for the ultimate summer at home.

Jetstar launches $39 flights to the Gold Coast

While some of us won’t be able to snap up this offer, with Queensland shut off to NSW and Victorian residents, other Australians can now grab an absolute bargain to the Sunshine State this summer.

From today, Aussies will be able to nab some Jetstar flight steals – and despite borders currently being closed, NSW folk aren’t off the discount list.

Sydneysiders wanting to travel from January to mid-April next year are in luck – with fares available from as low as $39. And despite the added distance, Melburnians can get in on the action for just $10 more ($49).

The sale, which is in conjunction with Destination Gold Coast, means Aussies from Adelaide, Hobart and Cairns wishing to travel as soon as November can do so from $89.

But you will have to snap up a fare quickly – with the event ending on October 16, 2021 unless sold out prior.

Virgin announce $49 sale for Sydneysiders

Virgin Australia has also announced a stellar flight sale for Sydneysiders busting out of lockdown and keep to take an intrastate holiday.

With regional travel getting the green light once the state reaches the 80 per cent vaccination rate, all eyes are on where within the state has reservations still available.

Virgin Australia will bring out 50,000 super cheap seats between Sydney and Byron Bay and Sydney to Coffs Harbour – with fares starting from just $49 one way.

The bargain airfares, which launched on Monday, are available for travel from November 1, 2021 – shortly after the foreshadowed resumption of travel within NSW – to June 23, 2022.

The new sale, which will end on Wednesday at midnight, will likely sell out quickly.

InterContinental Double Bay celebrates 75th Diamond Anniversary
