Jetstar launches ‘Fly a Friend for Free’ sale
Jetstar’s new one-week sale allows travellers to score a free flight for a mate – but there’s a catch.
Jetstar has launched a “Fly a Friend for Free” sale.
For each full paying customer, an additional passenger can fly for free, but there is a catch.
The deal only applies to holiday packages, which are bundled return starter fares and accommodation.
Some of the best sale packages on offer include return flights from Sydney to Gold Coast with three nights at the Novotel Surfers Paradise from $625, and return flights from Melbourne to Adelaide with two nights at the Crowne Plaza Adelaide from $621.
Return flights from Sydney to Uluru with three nights at Sails in the Desert is on sale from $1022, and return flights from Brisbane to Cairns with three nights at Rydges Esplanade Cairns starts at $674.
There is also two-night packages for staying in Melbourne from $521, in Sydney from $552 and in Hobart from $334.
Jetstar told news.com.au the “Fly a Friend For Free” sale was one of the airline’s most popular sales, with “customers able to save hundreds of dollars on holidays”.
“Flight and accommodation packages are a very cost effective way to plan a trip, while unlocking a range of inclusions such as buffet breakfasts, welcome drinks and late checkout,” the spokeswoman said.
“We expect the best packages to sell out fast, so our advice is to get in quick to snap up an amazing deal.”
The return starter fares in the holiday packages exclude checked baggage and travel dates vary per route but include mid-January to early September next year.
The sale will run for one week, ending at 11.59pm AEDT on Monday, November 6, unless sold out prior.
