Celebrity Cruises launches huge sale amid Celebrity Edge’s first season in Australia

A luxury cruise line has just launched a mammoth sale offering 75 per cent off a second guest, among other bonus offers.

Celebrity Cruises has launched an almost four month long sale where travellers who pay one full fare can get 75 per cent off a second guest fare.

The offer is a part of “wave season” which is like the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales of the cruise world.

Wave season usually runs from January until March in the US winter, but cruise companies have began launching their offers even earlier.

It gets its name from the “wave” of promotional offers during this time.

Aussies can take up the offer by booking on sails on-board Celebrity Edge, including an 11 night New Zealand itinerary departing from Sydney on March 13 and the 11-night Great Barrier Reef itinerary departing Sydney on February 25.

Celebrity Edge is currently in Australia for its very first season Down Under, and has been confirmed to return for the following summer season and in 2025-2026.

The 75 per cent off second guest offer is for non-refundable fares only.

For those who want refundable fares, the offer is 50 per cent off a second guest.

The second guest must share the same stateroom as the first guest paying a full fare.

The discounted trips must be booked before April next year and applies to select three-night and longer sailings until April 30, 2026.

Celebrity Cruises also announced bonus offers alternating between savings per stateroom and on board credit per stateroom, for sailings from December 6 through to April 30, 2026.
