A Russian-Australian airline passenger was hogtied on video after allegedly repeatedly stabbing the man seated next to him with a metal fork.

Fellow travellers on the Russian flight from Bangkok to Moscow found themselves thrust into a terrifying ordeal as they took turns guarding the individual allegedly responsible for the gruesome attack.

The disturbing incident unfolded two hours after takeoff from Bangkok when 35-year-old Alexey Fursov, a dual Russian and Australian citizen, allegedly went on a frenzied rampage.

Eyewitnesses aboard the flight alleged that Fursov, during the meal service, unexpectedly grabbed a fork and stabbed his fellow passenger, identified as Andrey, multiple times in the chest, shoulder, and back.

Russian authorities described the horrifying ordeal, with one officer alleging, “He pierced the victim in the chest, shoulder, and back.”

Fursov reportedly gloated about his alleged attack, remarking, “One hit, four holes,” in reference to each jab he made with the fork.

Passengers were left in shock as they learned that Fursov had not only used a fork but also allegedly had a concealed knife and sharp scissors within his reach.

Swift-thinking passengers came together to subdue the “wild” Fursov, restraining and tying him up.

The man was then led to the back row of the economy class section, where his legs were bound, and he was instructed to “hop, hop, hop” down the aisle of the Boeing 777.

In a scene resembling a makeshift prison, Fursov was forced to lie across three seats, with male passengers taking turns as impromptu sky-high wardens.

Moskva24 reported that “after he was tied up, for the rest of the flight, he was guarded by passengers in hour-long shifts as he kicked and tried to free himself.”

One female passenger shared a conversation with Fursov, where he revealed that he had a wife and son in Australia and had not returned to Russia for four years.

Fursov tried to explain his violent outburst to the crew, stating he thought the passenger next to him was going to bite him.

“So I got my fork ready, then he twitched again, I just stood him up. I decided to poke him, and then you came at me,” he explained.

“I thought I’d just poke him and he’d disappear.”

The victim received immediate first aid from the crew, and upon arrival in Moscow, Fursov was detained by Russian authorities.
