Jetstar drops insane deals from $29 to Australian destinations

There’s never been a more perfect time to travel, with huge discounts on flights to Singapore, Osaka, Bali, Hamilton Island and more.

Jetstar to begin flights between Sydney and Vanuatu

Popular budget airline Jetstar is slashing huge prices on more than 450,000 domestic and international fares.

Some local getaways include Hamilton Island, Whitsunday Coast, Uluru and Busselton Margaret River.

For overseas hotspots, jetsetters can head from Darwin to Bali starting at $165 one way, Melbourne to Singapore from $289, Brisbane to Seoul from $269 and Sydney to Osaka from $349.

Spanning more than 100 routes, the Takeoff More Sale will be available until next Monday, March 3, unless sold out.

Jetstar Group CEO, Stephanie Tully, says the mega sale is a nod to the company’s budget friendly roots and a sign it will continue to keep fares low for customers.

“When Jetstar launched in 2004, we had $29 sale fares – and two decades later, we’re still offering $29 sale fares,” she announced.

“With a growing fleet of modern aircraft, an expanding network and solid operational performance, Jetstar is offering more great value for our customers.”

The cheapest economy fares will start from $29, including Adelaide to Hobart, Brisbane to Melbourne, Hobart to Brisbane, Melbourne to Gold Coast, Sydney to Melbourne and Sydney to Sunshine Coast.

Other economy options up for grabs include Adelaide to Brisbane and Whitsunday Coast from $49, Adelaide to Melbourne from $59 and Sydney to Uluru from $110.

Travel dates will vary depending on the route, but generally include late April 2025 to late January 2026 for domestic flights. Cut-offs for international fares end slightly earlier, ranging from mid-March to mid-December 2025.

Club Jetstar members can enjoy exclusive access to further discounts, although customers can sign up to become a member when making a booking.

Jetstar’s Takeoff More sale follows a string of wallet friendly announcements from other such as including Qantas and Virgin Australia.
