After two years of travel bans, Jetstar is bringing back its hugely popular return for free sale, offering insanely cheap travel to destinations around the world.

Where and when Aussies can book international travel

Travel is back - and airlines are more excited than ever to get people back into the sky and on holidays again.

In response to the massive surge in demand for travel, Jetstar is bringing back its hugely popular Return For Free sale.

And, for the first time in more than two years, international destinations make up the bulk of the Jetstar sale.

The airline is listing more than 500,000 seats across domestic and international destinations for its 2022 sale, with domestic fares starting from $65 and international fares starting at $215, with passengers able to return to Australia completely free.

The sale will run across all 60 of Jetstar’s domestic routes and 22 international routes to destinations including Bali, Thailand, Hawaii and New Zealand.

Internationally, Aussies can fly between Gold Coast (Coolangatta) and Wellington for as little as $215 while flights to Bali and Phuket will go on sale for $309 and $379, respectively.

Travel periods for the sale vary per route but the dates range from mid-January to mid-September 2022.

The sale will run for 48 hours, kicking off at 12pm AEDT today for Club Jetstar members, while the public will get access from midnight tonight, AEDT.

The sale will end at 11.59pm AEDT on Saturday, November 20, unless sold out prior.

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Jetstar now has a Fly Flexible policy that allows customers to change the date of their travel if their plans change.

And, if customers are impacted by border restrictions or coronavirus rules, they will always be able to get a credit voucher from their booking.

Under Australia’s Covid restrictions, all travellers must be fully vaccinated against coronavirus and, depending on the destination, must have tested negative to coronavirus within 72 hours of their flight.
