Inside Rita Ora’s luxury Meriton quarantine hotel suite in Sydney | Photos

After arriving in Australia to film a reality TV show, singer-songwriter Rita Ora is spending the next two weeks in total luxury.

Rita Ora’s apology slammed as ‘ridiculous and fake’ after holding birthday party in London

Rita Ora is spending the next two weeks in luxury as she isolates in Australia after breaking the UK’s lockdown rules.

The pop star, 30, is staying in a $A500-a-night quarantine hotel after touching down in Oz.

Ora – who hosted an illicit lockdown bash in London before Christmas – was taken to the hotel by armed police.

The Let You Love Me singer – who is in Australia to film The Voice – was put into the hotel after landing in Sydney Airport.

She was not among a small number of A-listers allowed to avoid quarantine, thought to include Tom Hanks.

She’s believed to be staying at the five-star Meriton Suites Pitt Street hotel.

The penthouse suite could set Ora back $A7181 for 14 days at $A500 per night.

And she won’t be allowed to leave the hotel room’s four walls as strict isolation rules stop her from using any facilities or room service.

But it’s not bad digs to spent a fortnight in – with the hotel offering an open-plan living area with floor-to-ceiling windows and incredible views of the city.

There’s also a kingsize bed for Ora to get over her jet lag.

Unfortunately the star won’t be able to host a dinner party around the hotel’s impressive six-seater dining area with a white marble table.

But there’s a comfy living room to relax in as well as a balcony for fresh air.

A source told The Sun: “Rita travelled first class, with all the trimmings of private lounges and VIP suites.

“But there was nothing she could do to avoid having to properly quarantine.

“It’s very clear how seriously the Australians are taking their border control, and there are no risks taken at all.

“They have no time for rule-breakers.

“Border agents and the military are involved – and she had to comply.”

Ora’s work trip, approved by UK officials, comes after she was branded “selfish” by British police last week.

A council licensing meeting heard that she offered the since-sacked manager of restaurant Casa Cruz $A8977 to use his venue in Notting Hill, West London.

It also emerged that CCTV was turned off at the bash, where guests included model Cara Delevingne and her sister Poppy.

Ora later issued an apology for breaking lockdown rules and volunteered to pay any fine – as much as $A17,950.
