Travel Deal Tuesday: How to get two nights free accommodation
With the Easter long weekend behind us, this deal will get you excited for your next escape. Why? Because it’s free.
With the long weekend behind us, and the final days of afternoons by the beach quickly coming to an end, there’s only one solution — it’s time to book another holiday to beat the winter chill.
Luckily, there are plenty of deals to warmer parts of the world currently on sale, and as part of news.com.au’s Travel Deal Tuesday we have found three of the best this week.
STAY IN ABU DHABI FOR FREE:
Does a European summer appeal while friends at home shiver through winter? Well, this lay over deal will give you the chance to check out Abu Dhabi while on your way — and for free.
In a bid to attract more Aussie travellers to Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways is allowing travellers a free stopover in the capital of the UAE.
Basically, Etihad Airways is offering two free nights of hotel accommodation in Abu Dhabi for if you book flights to and from all Etihad destinations via Abu Dhabi. Guests can choose from 15 hotels located across the city and the deal is available for bookings from April 10 to June 15, 2019, for flights between April 21 and July 15, 2019.
KIDS FLY TO LOS ANGELES FOR HALF PRICE:
Hollywood, Disneyland and the golden beaches of California await, and this deal is perfect if you’re planning on travelling to the U.S. as a family with kids under the age of 11.
Until April 24, (yes, you only have 24 hours left to book), kids can fly for 50 per cent off the adult price to Los Angeles and San Francisco when booking with Air New Zealand. The only catch? The booking must include a full fare paying adult.
JUMP ABOARD THE $399 CRUISE
If cruising is your thing, and you only have a long weekend up your sleeve this winter — this deal for under $400 might be the perfect getaway.
Departing Sydney on May 28, P & O Cruises are offering a four day cruise to Moreton Island and Tangalooma in Queensland.
At 23 per cent off the regular rate, the $399 per person deal allows passengers to handfeed wild dolphins, get off the ship and try some parasailing or even quad biking on land.
If you’re even tighter on time, perhaps the Comedy Cruise might be more to your liking. Departing Sydney on June 15, the three-day package won’t dock anywhere so you’ll have plenty of time to get your sea legs.
At $349, you’ll be watching live shows from some of Australia’s best comics, as well as taking part in comedy workshops and comedy performances.
