AT 829 metres high, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest man-made structure. And it’s just as outrageous as it sounds.

AT 829 metres up, I really feel like I’m on top of the world.

I’ve been whisked up to the observation deck on the superstructure Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

It’s the world’s tallest man-made structure. And it’s just as outrageous as it sounds.

While it has a total of 160 storeys, the observation deck isn’t situated at the very top of the gargantuan tower. Instead I’m whisked up 124 levels in the blink of an eye, via a nerve-racking high-speed elevator.

But believe me, at that height, you get some truly impressive views of the emirate.

Check them out.

Be warned, it’s definitely not for those who are afraid of heights!

Famed National Geographic photographer Joe McNally managed to snap the mother of all rooftopping photos. The Instagram snap was captured from the tip of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest man-made structure in the world.
