Lexie Cartwright has worked as a journalist since 2013, beginning her career as a crime reporter at the Gold Coast Bulletin, before moving to the Courier-Mail in Brisbane and landing at news.com.au as an entertainment writer in Sydney in 2019. Lexie was a finalist for NewsCorp’s Young Journalist of the Year award in 2016 and as a reward was sent on secondment to London where she covered international events including the Manchester Arena bombing, London Bridge terror attack and Grenfell Tower Fire.
