Police issue warning about fake delivery emails over Christmas

POLICE have issued a warning over fake parcel delivery emails, so if you have ordered anything online be careful.

TIS’ the season to be jolly with Christmas just around the corner, but there is something to be aware of leading up to the festive holiday.

NSW Police have issued a warning for people to watch out for fake parcel delivery scams this Christmas.

Scammers are sending emails pretending to be from Australia Post or FedEx, including personal details and “legitimate-looking company information”, as they try to trick you into believing you have an ‘undeliverable package’.
