Shocking moment truck wheels smash into oncoming car
Shocking footage has revealed the moment a pair of truck wheels smashed into an oncoming car outside two school campuses.
A driver has miraculously escaped uninjured after a pair of wheels separated from an oncoming semi-trailer and smashed into his car.
The shocking moment was posted via video by Dashcam Owners Australia, showing the wheels from the truck detaching and hitting a Subaru Forester, destroying the front end of the vehicle.
The horrific accident occurred on a 60km/h stretch of Beach Rd at Christies Beach, South Australia, directly outside two school campuses.
“A sedan with a more sloped front end could have easily scooped the wheel and had it crash through the windscreen,” one viewer commented on the YouTube video.
“Just be thankful he wasn’t riding a motorcycle,” another commenter wrote.
Images posted in the video show the front of the Subaru completely demolished, almost certainly writing the vehicle off.
