Melbourne: Pedestrian left with critical injuries after being struck by car
Police are investigating after a man was struck by a car and taken to hospital with critical injuries.
A man is fighting for life after being hit by a car in Melbourne on Monday morning.
Emergency services attended Geelong St in West Footscray, 25 minutes out of Melbourne’s CBD, about 8.20am.
The male pedestrian was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
Police confirmed the driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene.
Geelong St, which runs between Geelong Rd and Sunshine Rd, remains closed as investigations continue.
