Terrifying footage has captured the moment a dazed tradie rammed into a parked car in a Coles car park - before being confronted by a brave father.

A dazed tradie has been filmed ramming into a parked car in a Coles car park before zooming off after being confronted by a brave father.

The witness took to TikTok to share footage of the moment he confronted the man driving a red Honda erratically in a Hampton car park in Melbourne’s southeast on December 30.

The clip showed the tradie slamming into a silver car while attempting to park on a pedestrian crossing leading to the supermarket.

After crashing into the silver car, the tradie pulled up just centimetres from another parked car in front of stunned onlookers.

“Gee mate that’s pretty close to your car,” the father filming the parking attempt said before deciding to confront the tradie.

Walking over to the red Honda, he continued “You just crashed into that car mate.”

But the tattooed driver, wearing an orange hi-vis vest and sunglasses, was having none of it.

“F*** off dog!” he shouted back before rolling up the car windows.

“Mate you can’t be driving,” the man filming insisted.

But the tradie was having none of it, abruptly reversing backwards into another parked car before zooming off in a rush.

Victorian Police said no injuries were sustained during the incident.

The man who filmed the entire interaction was praised for his bravery.

“Oh mate you really tried, you did a great job here, can‘t be easy to confront someone like that, my hat off to you,” wrote one person.

“Appreciate that mate. Hindsight is 20/20 but when you (’re) a 40 y (ear) o (ld) boomer like me with two kids you don’t want to confront people like this anymore,” the father replied.
