Car crashes into suburban pool in southeast QLD with child inside

Paramedics have pulled a child from a car that crashed into a suburban pool in Queensland’s southeast.

A driver has landed themselves in hot water after a car crashed into a suburban pool in Queensland’s southeast with a child inside.

Emergency services were called to a home at Shailer Park in Logan about 9am on Friday morning after reports a car had rolled over.

Police, fire, and ambulance crews scrambled to the scene, with a child being extricated uninjured from the car by paramedics.

A shocking image from the scene shows what appears to be a white Mitsubiushi SUV completely submerged in the backyard pool.

The driver was uninjured and nobody required further treatment.

Queensland police are treating the incident as a traffic crash.
