‘Can you read?’: Enraged parking notes left on car at Cottesloe Beach
A bright yellow Suzuki Swift has been peppered with hilarious notes after a questionable street park near a popular Aussie beach.
A shonky parker at Perth’s most iconic beach has been bombarded with a series of hilarious letters.
The colourful notes were left on a bright yellow Suzuki Swift parked on a street near Cottesloe Beach, which is currently hosting Sculptures by the Sea.
“Don’t park here again because my uncle is a state kickboxing champion and will give you a wedgie,” one reads on a torn-in-half envelope.
“Do you live here? No, thought so. Don’t park here you nerd,” reads another, this time written on a complete envelope.
“You’ve parked pretty badly,” another reads.
“Can you read? Residents only. Move your vehicle. Ta,” the final letter reads on a torn piece of paper..
Plenty saw the funny side online, taking swipes at the notes and Perth in general.
“The amount of people in Perth who are state kickboxing champs is truly astonishing,” one wrote.
“Gotta say people who live In Cottesloe have terrible handwriting,” another said.
Others honed their criticism in on the driver, who, granted, does appear to be parked “pretty badly”.
“Rangers will be filling their books down there,” one said.
“It is rubbish parking, to be fair, the yellow car is about 8ft out into the road,” another exaggerated.
Sculptures by the Sea runs at Cottesloe Beach from March 3 to 20.
