APPLE has teased a new product launch to take place next week leaving the world to speculate on what the tech giant has in store.

The company officially sent out invitations this week prompting a flurry of speculation.

It’s expected Apple will show off a new generation of MacBook Pro laptops at the Californian event on October 27 local time.

According to MacRumours — a proven source for reliable Apple leaks — the new release will feature the first redesign of the machine since 2012.

As with any new product range, the guts of the machine will likely be improved allowing for greater processing speed and increased power.

The new MacBook range will likely come in the same 13 and 15 inch sizes but is expected to be thinner and lighter. The laptop could come equipped with a wider, pressure-sensitive trackpad and a secondary touchscreen at the top of the keyboard, reports MacRumours.

The tiny screen could possibly replace the function key row and allow users to perform “context based” commands depending on the app in use.

Other possible announcements thought to be in store next week include potential updates to the MacBook Air as well as a minor spec bump for the iMac desktop machines.
