Meet the biggest Australian Twitch streamers Loserfruit, LazarBeam, BazzaGazza

Many Aussie Twitch streamers have found global success. Here are our top nine to check out.

Who is the highest paid Twitch streamer?

If you’ve ever found yourself looking to support your fellow Aussies on Twitch, you have plenty of choices – many Australian Twitch streamers have found success far outside the confines of the country.

To celebrate their success, and help you find your next favourite streamer, we’ve compiled a shortlist of some of the biggest and best Australian Twitch streamers for you to check out.

Loserfruit

Hailing from Victoria, Loserfruit is at the top of the list owing to her massive follower counter of nearly three million followers on Twitch and over three million on YouTube. Focusing primarily on popular games like Fortnite, Fallguys and Dead By Daylight, Loserfruit also features a significant emphasis on Fitness and Health and Just Chatting streams.

Loserfruit is the second-most followed female gamer channel on Twitch behind Pokimane. She headed up a 36-hour charity stream for the 2020 Australian bushfire relief alongside a few other streamers on this list to raise over $A300,000.

LazarBeam

One of the most-viewed channels on YouTube, LazarBeam boasts the title of top-10 viewed content creator from 2019 and is currently the third most viewed Australian YouTuber on the platform. Focusing heavily on Fortnite content creation, in 2020 LazarBeam became the sixth-most-viewed content creator – and his popularity earned him a unique LazarBeam skin for Fortnite in March of this year.

He’s internet-famous enough to have earned a spot in the film Free Guy in 2021, alongside other popular online personalities like Ninja and Jacksepticeye. Bouncing from Minecraft to Fortnite videos, LazarBeam’s popularity tends to focus around meme-heavy content.

Crayator

Crayator is a more social streamer at just under 800,000 followers on Twitch, with a bulk of his streams primarily focused around Fortnite and Just Chatting. Occasionally you’ll see him streaming from a hotel room or a hot tub as he travels around the world for events such as Twitch-Con, but there’s still plenty of Fortnite mixed in-between. Previously, he lived in the Australian Social Media Team House “Click” with Loserfruit, Bazza Gazza, and other popular streamers. However, since parting ways, he now primarily streams content alongside roommate Bazza Gazza.

Char_DJ

One of the more original streamers on this list, Char_DJ is strictly a music streamer. Based out of Perth, she plays a number of electronic beats for her followers, from Dance to Drum and Bass. Plenty of her remixes are saved as VODs on her channel, so even if you miss a stream you can still enjoy her music.

PaladinAmber

PaladinAmber, sitting at just over 100,000 followers on Twitch, is a variety streamer. While she does tend to focus on popular games like Fortnite and Fall Guys, she also occasionally streams things like Stray, Stardew Valley, and horror games. She became notorious for her unique way of dealing with trolls in her chat by creating “Breaking News” segments to call them out for harassment.

Fasffy

Fasffy is another Fortnite/social streamer who works with Loserfruit. Also coming from Victoria, Fasffy typically streams Fortnite for a handful of hours every other day. She also does travel streams whenever a big event comes up. Fortnite recently created a skin bundle for her in recognition of her content creation over the years.

AmeDoll

And now for something completely different. AmeDoll is a “VTuber” which is a streamer that uses a digital overlay of a cartoon character. The character moves in real time via motion tracking applications, which allows VTubers to emote like other streamers, only with a cartoon face. AmeDoll is another variety streamer, with games ranging from Witcher 3 to Monster Hunter and just about everything in between. AmeDoll also does YouTube watch-alongs with her audience, ranging from anime-related content to odd video clips.

Kyundere

One of the smaller streamers on this list, but still boasting nearly 20,000 followers, Kyundere is another VTuber streamer who focuses exclusively on Final Fantasy XIV. FFXIV is a combat-oriented MMORPG focused around social aspects, such as forming groups with friends to take down giant bosses while also having options to decorate houses or go fishing. Kyundere’s avatar is that of an anime dog-girl with demon wings, so if anime is your thing, this is the perfect stream for you.

BazzaGazza

Last but certainly not least, BazzaGazza, a Twitch streamer with nearly 300,000 followers, is a Grand Theft Auto V-focused content creator. Previously part of the “Click” collective alongside Crayator and Loserfruit, he now exclusively streams Grand Theft Auto 5, but occasionally will dabble into newer games like Overwatch 2. Bazza’s YouTube channel isn’t uploaded too often anymore, but it still holds his previous videos, such as Among Us sessions.
