Amouranth is ‘happy that I’m free’ after alleged abuse by husband

Amouranth has gone live on air for the first time since a stream where she accused her husband of abuse, saying she’s “happy” to be “free”.

Amouranth, one of the world’s most popular streamers said she was “happy” to be “free” in her first video released since allegations about her husband were aired.

Previously, we reported on how Amouranth alleged that she has been abused by her husband in a heartbreaking stream.

Following the accusations of verbal abuse and yelling towards her, alleged texts from her husband emerged, outlining a litany of abusive tactics to keep Amouranth pliant.

The abuse included threats to donate her money to various organisations, threats to send her horse to a meat packing house, and calling her a number of abusive words.

Amouranth went live on Tuesday in her first real stream since then. Wearing a sweater and breathing sighs of relief, she went over a list of things she feels that she is free to do now, including watching TV shows and sleeping for eight hours.

“I don’t have to show cleavage every day, I can wear clothes,” she stated.

“Master has given Dobby a sock,” she said referencing the famous Harry Potter scene.

She previously alleged that her husband forced her to keep their marriage secret to make more money from the “hot tub meta”.

The term refers to the Twitch category where women wear skimpy clothing to attract donations from viewers.

Regarding her husband, Amouranth said he was “ seeking help,” and that he was no longer at the house.

Amouranth is seeking both legal counsel and therapy for her abuse and revealed that she had regained control of all her social media accounts.

She alleged that many of her staff, including her former cameraman and content lead, knew about the abuse for a while, but did nothing.

Amouranth makes at least $133,000 every month from subscribers and donations on Twitch and much more from her OnlyFans page. Her net worth is estimated to be between $30 million and $40 million.
