A woman was left mortified after her brother showed her two incredibly awkward notifications he received on his Apple watch.

A woman shared a hilarious, but also mortifying, picture of her brother’s Apple watch, logging that she and her boyfriend had been “exercising”.

Twitter user Georgia, who posts with the handle @lolgeorgee, uploaded the snap showing that the pair had been working up a sweat.

She explained that the awkward notification had gone through to her family members.

Georgia uploaded the photo with the caption: “Not my family getting these notifications from me & my boyfriend on their apple watches.”

The hilarious tweet went viral and racked up more than 165,000 likes from amused Twitter users.

But not everyone was convinced that the picture was genuine.

One person said: “Lets be honest. They genuinely just went for a run…”

Another agreed: “Who keeps their watches on during the thang though? Lies, all lies.”

While a third said: “Today in things that didn’t happen.”

But it seems that they weren’t far off with their apprehension.

Georgia later tweeted: “TO BE CLEAR: this is just a little joke.

“My brother put his watch on later in the day and got all his notifications at once.

“I cannot stress enough how this is just a little joke.”
