MMA fighter scores knockout win from underneath full mount
A boxer-turned MMA fighter delivered a contender for knockout of the year as he pulled off the near-impossible in his debut fight.
He didn’t even see it coming.
A mighty blow from Polish boxer Krzysztof Głowacki knocked out Patryk Tołkaczewski in the KSW Colosseum 2.
The most impressive part was that Głowacki was on his back, underneath a full mount when he threw the knockout punch.

It was Głowacki’s debut as an MMA fighter.
He previously had a successful career as a boxer, winning the WBO cruiserweight title - as well as other belts - with a 32-4 record.
Just two minutes into the fight, Głowacki was in the precarious position of being underneath the dominant ground grappling position known as the full mount.
Escape is normally virtually impossible - except for the most skilled jiu-jitsu masters.
But Głowacki solved the problem his own way - and simply boxed his way out.
With Tołkaczewski raining down blows, Głowacki unleashed a ferocious left hook - and it caught Tołkaczewski by surprise.
He likely only realised what had happened when he woke up.
The punch has already been dubbed a contender for knockout of the year.
