It will come as a surprise to absolutely nobody, but Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios didn’t hold back in his post-match celebrations following Sunday evening’s decider in SW19, partying with his entourage long into the night.

Kyrgios suffered a 4-6 6-3 6-4 7-6 defeat to Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic in the men’s singles final on Sunday evening, making headlines for his trademark on-court antics and tantrums.

“I’m not supposed to be a Wimbledon finalist. Where I’m from, everything I’ve been through. I feel ridiculous to be here talking as a Wimbledon finalist,” he told reporters in the post-match press conference.

“I’m honoured to go out there and battle with the best. This is just an example that anything’s possible, really. Someone like me to go out there against Novak Djokovic, keep him there for three hours in a Wimbledon final, it’s pretty cool.”

As the Wimbledon crowd dispersed after the trophy presentation, the 27-year-old Australian watched from windows at the back of the iconic venue, sipping on a beer.

Despite falling short of the grand prize, Kyrgios will return home with $A1.8 million in his bank account — and it didn’t take long for the Aussie to start splurging.

Kyrgios, accompanied by girlfriend Costeen Hatzi, sister Halimah, friend Daniel Horsfall, physio Will Maher, agent Tristan Hay and a crew of Netflix videographers, was filmed celebrating at Central London nightclub Wyld a few hours after his Wimbledon defeat.

In videos uploaded to Instagram on Monday morning AEST, scantily-clad models dressed in tennis-themed outfits held up sparklers and delivered bottles of expensive champagne to the high-profile patrons in a private section of the lavish nightclub.

Pictures emerged of the Canberran finally leaving the venue at approximately 3am.

Kyrgios was dressed very casually and appeared to be enjoying his night out despite the loss to Djokovic, sipping on vodka while wearing a black hooded sweater and his favourite red cap.

Meanwhile, his father Giorgos was pictured holding giant bottles of Belvedere.

After departing London, Kyrgios and the rest of his crew will spend a fortnight inside the tennis star’s luxurious Bahamas mansion.

Kyrgios is expected to compete at the Atlanta Open later this month before preparing for next month’s US Open.
