Drama in Nick Kyrgios, Costeen Hatzi split as social media games begin
Costeen Hatzi has addressed her “divorce” in a series of eyebrow-raising messages following her reported split from Nick Kyrgios.
So far it is Costeen Hatzi that is winning the break-up.
The popular lifestyle influencer and cosmetics expert has shared a series of eyebrow-raising posts across her social media channels after it was reported over the weekend she had split from Nick Kyrgios.
You can watch some of her cryptic video messages in the video player below.
They have both removed each others’ initials from their Instagram bios and Kyrgios has been largely wiped out from Hatzi’s Instagram page.
The Daily Telegraph also first reported Hatzi flew home from the United States without Kyrgios recently.
The former Wimbledon finalist claimed his first tour victory since 2022 at the Miami Open earlier this month.
The pair have both shared cryptic messages on social media to their fans, but neither party has confirmed publicly that their relationship is over.
The pair began dating in 2021 after linking up through Instagram when Hatzi was selling a mirror.
There has been drama in the last 24 hours as the social media games began on Sunday with Hatzi, 25, joining in on viral TikTok trends while taking not so subtle shots at the recovering 29-year-old tennis star.
Hatzi’s most recent TikTok post shows her glammed up for a photo shoot in an all-black gown. The series of photos included a watermark caption: “The photos are good when the photographer isn’t secretly jealous”.
Kyrgios has at times been the tragic “boyfriends of Insta” photographer behind some of Hatzi’s ritzy influencer posts and selfie shots.
The former tennis WAG also cryptically addressed the issue when she shared a video of her talking to lookalike best friend Golda Mansour.
The video was captioned: “You don’t see your friend in a while and you have to update her on your chaotic life”.
In the clip, Mansour, who has more than 2.9 million likes on her TikTok account, pretends to act shocked and throws a water bottle when Hatzi mouths the words: “Part 37. Who the f*** did I marry? So at this point in time I have filed for divorce.”
When asked by a follower if she had a broken heart, she simply replied no.
Mansour also shared a clip of Hatzi and herself mimicking the trend of saying “bare minimum” in response to each other.
Mansour captioned the video: “How it feels when you’re the tough-love friend of the group”.
In the clip, Hatzi mimics talking about a partner that opened the door for her when walking out of a restaurant, to which Mansour replied “bare minimum”.
She followed with a caption: “Gotta keep them in check at all times”.
Kyrgios has also been involved in peculiar Instagram activity, sharing a photo of a luxury sports car parked on the side of the road with a caption: “Fact of the day... don’t believe everything you read. Stay in your lane.”
Kyrgios has made several other posts in recent days, with one showing him cuddling up to a dog with the caption “blessed”.
It is a sad end to a relationship that had previously sparked marriage and baby rumours.
Two sources close to the pair lifted the lid on the split over the weekend.
“Nick is a party boy,” one insider said to The Daily Telegraph. “He always has been.”
Another added: “She would have to be willing to accept how he rolls and she won’t anymore.”
Things took off for the couple less than a year into dating with Kyrgios hinting multiple times his plans to one day marry Hatzi.
The duo sent tongues wagging in 2022 following sightings of Hatzi sporting a diamond ring on her engagement finger.
They caused an almighty stir on social media in late 2023 when an image of the pair getting hot and heavy quickly went viral.
Kyrgios was snapped licking his partner’s neck in a photo that may have crossed the line in the eyes of some.
Last year Hatzi opened up in a wide-ranging interview where she spoke about the rumours of the two tying the knot and starting a family. She said they’ve “definitely had conversations”.
“We love each other. (But) there’s no rush. It’ll happen when it happens,” she said.
“Nick tells me every day that he wants a baby.”
They appear to be telling each other different things now.
