Bernard Tomic spills secrets on Vanessa Sierra, Lleyton Hewitt, Nick Kyrgios

Bernard Tomic has revealed what he really thinks of reality TV star Vanessa Sierra, Lleyton Hewitt, his dad John and Nick Kyrgios.

Bernard Tomic’s conscience-cleaning has continued with another series of honest confessions for his social media followers.

The Australian tennis player has been making headlines this week while revealing the regrets he holds from his faltering tennis career.

On Tuesday night the 29-year-old continued to shoot from the hip in his typically honest style when addressing his complex relationships with Lleyton Hewitt, Nick Kyrgios, his father John and Vanessa Sierra.

The former world No. 17’s on-again off-again romance with former reality TV contestant Sierra included his appearance in sexually-suggestive photos on her Instagram page and adult-content site.

She also filmed him smashing a laptop she claimed was hers.

His relationship with Sierra was one of the first things Tomic addressed on Tuesday during a Q+A with fans on his Instagram stories.

“I mean guys, how many questions about her? Do you really want to know? I didn’t realise she was that interesting,” he said.

When asked about his time on an adult content site with Sierra, Tomic responded by posting a photo of him burying his face in his hand.

“BIGGEST. REGRET. OF. MY. LIFE,” he wrote on the picture.

He is now ranked 254th in the world and played his last match in Kazakhstan in September, which he lost due to retirement.

He is recovering from a finger ligament injury and has given himself a five-week preparation to regain his top form and be ready to contest qualifying for the Australian Open in January.

As part of his recent soul-searching Kyrgios has also admitted he wants to patch up his relationship with Aussie tennis legend and current Davis Cup captain Lleyton Hewitt.

Tomic in 2019 accused Hewitt of favouring certain players in his Davis Cup selections as their prickly relationship exploded with a series of heated, public swipes during the 2019 Australian Open.

Hewitt responded to Tomic’s claims by saying Tomic had made “physical” threats against his family.

Tomic responded at the time by calling Hewitt a “liar”.

Tomic has not played Davis Cup since.

The Gold Coast-based player now says he is ready to mend their rift.

“Would like to patch things up. He’s done a lot for the sport,” Tomic responded to a question about Hewitt.

Meanwhile, Tomic has also sparked a light-hearted war of words with Nick Kyrgios after claiming he is still the best player out of the pair.

“Obviously Nick is a good player, probably top six or seven servers in the world. Obviously beat him in Kooyong 6-3 6-4.

“Because I train with him I pick where he’s serving and I know where he’s at so that style doesn’t really bother me.”

Asked who was better in their prime, Tomic replied with a thumbs up and cheeky grin: “I still am.”

Kyrgios responded soon after on his own Instagram profile.

“Where people play exhibitions - and yes he did beat me there once,” he posted.

“But to say that he’s better? I have more titles. I don’t think he has any big scalp to his name, no Rafa, no Federer no Djokovic. To say that he’s better than me, it’s a bit of a stretch.

“But we all know what BT’s capable of and I wish him the best.

“I ain’t no jealous person, I want success for everyone — so BT, we know what you are capable of brother, let’s see it.”

Tomic has also revealed his father John will not be part of his team at this year’s Australian Open.

John Tomic was involved in his son’s 2021 Open campaign, but won’t be there at Melbourne Park next month.

Tomic did not elaborate on his relationship with his father.

John Tomic was accused of being involved in a heated argument with Channel 9 commentator Sam Groth during this year’s Open.

The tennis player, meanwhile, is adamant this year will be different.

Tomic has bleached his normally dark hair, posting footage of himself at the barber with the caption: “New start. New cut”.

He also says he is hungry and has a goal of reaching top the top 10 on the ATP Tour rankings within a few years.

“No one can stop me now, but me. I’m training, I’m sweating, I’m pushing, I’m fired up,” he said.

“Whatever it takes to get back to the top.“Hard work pays off. I put my blood, sweat and tears into this sport. I’ve come back before and it’s time to set the record straight.”
