Last week ... the narrow defeats of Extensible ($2.50 at Rosehill) and Prince Of Brooklyn ($2.45 at Caulfield) proved costly for most of our tipsters. A total of 10 placings were sprinkled among our team’s best bets, including Impending ($8.50), Snoopy ($3.90), Pepperano ($3.80) and Smart Manoeuvre ($2.60). Nick Quinn delivered the only winner, Black Heart Bart ($2) in the Group 1 Memsie Stakes.

BRAD DAVIDSON & SHAYNE O’CASS PREVIEW SATURDAY’S RANDWICK CARD
RANDWICK
RAY THOMAS (Daily Telegraph). Form: 7x112
GALAXY WARRIOR
Race 4, No. 1
Monstered his rivals when resuming at Narromine, romping home by nearly five lengths shouldering 61.5kg. Boom bush sprinter with three wins from five starts and after the claim he gets in well just 2kg over the limit.
TAB Fixed Odds: $2.50
BRAD DAVIDSON (Daily Telegraph). Form: 12x22
GALAXY WARRIOR
Race 4, No. 1
This horse was a good thing beaten in a Highway race back in April and he gets the chance to atone here. He bolted in first up at Narromine and looks a horse with plenty of upside. The $2.50 is a fair price.
TAB Fixed Odds: $2.50
DARREN PRENDERGAST (SuperRacing). Form: 31612
SWEAR
Race 3, No. 3
Made a big impression when scoring on debut at Hawkesbury in April. Team Hawkes have got their three-year-olds ticking along nicely and this colt locks well placed to strike first-up.
TAB Fixed Odds: $4.60
STEPHEN ZAMMIT (Daily Telegraph). Form: 22842
DUBAINSTYLE
Race 2, No. 4
Looks another winner for the mighty Chris Waller juggernaut. Found plenty under pressure for nose win over 2000m at Rosehill on August 13, rounding off a winning double. Has the all-conquering Hugh Bowman engaged. Will take a ton of beating again.
TAB Fixed Odds: $2.60
JOHN DAVIS (Daily Telegraph). Form: 32464
FELINES
Race 9, No. 11
Should the predicted inclement weather arrive, there is probably no better wet tracker here than Felines in the closer. Attractively weighted and plummets six kilograms after her a gallant placing behind Southern Legend and Haptic at this venue last month. Kris Lees stable is on fire and an added bonus is Felines’ record at this trip, with six wins — half of those being at HQ.
TAB Fixed Odds: $13
SHAYNE O’CASS (Sportsman). Form: 38233
CHIPANDA
Race 6, No. 6
Has always had a decent boom on her and rightly so. She is 4s 1-0-2 so far and actually started odds-on in Star Turn’s Pierro Plate here on debut but from memory she went to pieces before the race, dropped poor old Sammy Clipperton going up the tunnel, and was just in a generally foul mood it seems. Her subsequent runs were very good, that Lancaster 4th of 15 in Brisbane in the winter was huge! She has had two very easy trials but they were deep heats and she was never asked to do anything at all.
TAB Fixed Odds: $13

MOONEE VALLEY
MICHAEL MANLEY (Herald Sun). Form: 21122
KANIANA
Race 1, No. 3
Best work was late when she was successful over 1600m at Caulfield last start. Up in weight but Oliver goes on. Winner at Moonee Valley this distance at her only start. Stick with her.
TAB Fixed Odds: $2.90
DARYL TIMMS (Herald Sun). Form: 22422
RAW IMPULSE
Race 2, No. 5
Clearly the best of Weir’s five runners and the one to beat.
TAB Fixed Odds: $2
SIMON MOY (SuperRacing). Form: 24122
VOODOO LAD
Race 7, No. 3
Found the form we know he is capable of last start when successful at Caulfield over 1200m. Perfectly drawn to be prominent and hard to beat here.
TAB Fixed Odds: $2.90
NICK QUINN (TAB). Form: 22361
VOODOO LAD
Race 7, No. 3
Hasn’t missed a placing in six starts since joining the DK Weir team.
TAB Fixed Odds: $2.90

EAGLE FARM
NATHAN EXELBY (The Courier-Mail). Form: 30262
ANOTHER SLIPPER
Race 1, No. 3
Is among nominations for some feature 3YO races in Melbourne, so stable clearly has a good opinion of him. Lived up to that billing when strolling home to win by 5L first up at Ipswich, clocking 69.4 sec in a classy display of sustained speed. Comes up against a moderate lot and the only concern is whether he handles Eagle Farm.
TAB Fixed Odds: $3.20
MARKETS: TAB FIXED ODDS
MORPHETTVILLE
BEN SCADDEN (The Advertiser). Form: 62243
LOPE DE CAPIO
Race 6, No 3
Powered home from a long way back when impressive winner this track and distance last time. Up in weight but continues to improve with racing and the Wayne Francis-Glen Kent stable is really firing at the moment.
TAB Fixed Odds: $3
LINCOLN MOORE (The Advertiser). Form: 11118
ASCEDANCE
Race 4, No. 6
Nice effort last start when he came from a long way back behind War Thunder. Previous win was very good and the Lope De Caprio formline stacks up well.
Drawn to get a nice run in a race with some genuine speed.
Looks hard to beat.
TAB Fixed Odds: $5
