Shayno: Hello Mitchy. Sure it is Randwick, one turn and everything, but the barrier draw turned the Inglis Millennium on its head. That said, I am sticking with Rivellino. Just loved the turn of foot in his win. Price Tag might have chased home the Blue Diamond winner first-up.
Mitch: G’day Shayno. Here’s a few numbers for you – 14, 15, 7, 5, 7, 13. They’re the winning barriers of the six Millennium winners so maybe those wide gates are overplayed. I landed on a colt in barrier 10, Cobra Club. He wasn’t far away after being caught three-deep in the Nursery and looks ready to run well again.

• Schweida to turn on the Grafterburners in Inglis Millennium
Shayno: The Lonhro Plate, the other 2YO race on the card, has a lot of debutants, some of which have trialled well. Me? I reckon Extractor is the best horse in the race but barrier 14 just brings him back to the field – slightly.
Mitch: I’ve made Alabama Magic my best value play on the program. She went enormous first-up behind Open Secret and can take advantage of a better draw here. $19 looks juicy.

• ‘Didn’t think it would be fair to the horse’: Star Sydney colt sidelined
Shayno: Some nice 3YOs in the Eskimo Prince. John O’Shea and Tom Charlton bookend this year’s renewal with Linebacker and (my tip) Snow In May who absolutely one hundred per cent should have beaten Autumn Glow in the Tea Rose.
Mitch: Fillies haven’t won the Eskimo Prince in more than a decade but I am tipping that will change. Snow In May is a really class filly and I am expecting her to have a massive autumn. That starts here.
âï¸ Not sure about snow in May... but winning in May for sure! â

• Gai’s Golden call: ‘This colt will win the Slipper’
Shayno: You know me Mitch, I am not one to make outlandish, ridiculous calls but I think we’ll see the Sydney and Melbourne Cup winner tomorrow – Kinesiology.
Mitch: That’s precisely what I know you as Shayno! It’s going to be a make or break day for my blackbook on Saturday and Wymark is part of that contingent. The step up to a mile suits him perfectly, I just hope I am not going off a run too soon.
Shayno: Mitchy, you’ll be pleased to see a Kembla winner on the card in Fugitiva.
Mitch: My best comes up pretty early this week. I was with Depth Of Character in the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas and we are sticking with him in race four.
