SIZZLING is set to shorten even further in Magic Millions Guineas betting, with high ranking fillies No Looking Back and Urban Groove unlikely starters.

The Gai Waterhouse trained duo are third and fourth respectively in betting, which sees Sizzling the $3 favourite.

Sizzling has his final MM lead-up in Saturday’s Vo Rogue Plate, which received 21 nominations.

Stable representative Natasha Kent said Urban Groove hadn’t even trialled this time in and is being aimed at the Sydney autumn. No Looking Back is a little further forward in her preparation, but a 1400m race in three weeks time would be a stretch.

Instead, the stable will rely on Driefontein, who was beaten at prohibitive odds at Wyong last Thursday.

The stable’s stocks in the $2Million 2YO Classic boast much more depth and this will week will determine what impact they are likely to have on the Coast.

Sweet Idea and Northern Glory are both set to run in the B.J. McLachlan Stakes at Doomben on Saturday.

Redoute’s Choice colt Aussies Love Sport, backed from $81 to $26 in the past week, will debut at Canterbury on Saturday.

Rockford, eye-catching runner-up on debut at Flemington, will run in a Gosford maiden on Thursday in an effort to qualify.

Certitude, safely held behind Assail at Wyong on Thursday, is already qualified and is a confirmed runner.

Greytfilly will be tried in blinkers in a 400m jumpout as a final lead-up to the Millions.

Rob Heathcote and Ryan Wiggins were taken by how the filly finished off over 1110m at Doomben on Saturday and are of the opinion she’s a live player in the Millions.

Wiggins told connections “1200m will be perfect.”

“It was just a super run,” he said.

“I was at her the whole way, but she got going at the 600m. She probably just peaked on her run in the last 100m. If she can draw a gate and we can be in front of four or five, that would be ideal.”

Heathcote has been open in the opinion he has of Greytfilly and Saturday did little to diminish his confidence.

“She’s got the motor to win it and with a finish like that I think she’s got a good race in her,” he said.

The McLachlan will determine Queensland’s best chance of winning the Millions, with last start Listed winners Missy Longstocking (Damian Browne) and Sir Luminar (Chris Munce) set to clash.

Saturday’s meeting also features the Bernborough Handicap, where Fillydelphia and Fire Up Fifi are likely to vie for favouritism.
