WARWICK FARM

NIC ASHMAN (The Daily Telegraph)

MISS DENNI

Race 3, No. 6

Think she’s the best horse in the race. Whether they are too sharp or not remains to be seen but a fair price makes her a worthy gamble. Had excuses at Australian debut and showed huge improvement last week. Backs-up here and this looks perfect if she can get some luck from the barrier.

STEPHEN ZAMMIT (The Daily Telegraph)

COPPER

Race 6, No. 5

A lightly-raced mare from the John O’Shea yard, she resumes here and was given an easy time when seventh to Richard The First in a 1050m Randwick barrier trial Heavy(9) May 25. Has a strong first-up record and will be ready to tackle this race.

JOHN DAVIS (The Daily Telegraph)

LET ME HANDLE IT

Race 7, No. 10

Hit the line with plenty of gusto at headquarters last time out. Does not win out of turn but strikes a winnable race.

BENDIGO

MICHAEL MANLEY (Herald Sun)

KING’S COMMAND

Race 1, No. 3

Only beaten by a smart horse at his debut last summer when he finished second to Bayoonah at Geelong. Third placegetter was the smart Indulge, who won his next two starts. Also didn’t have the best of luck in the run. Blinkers on first time in this and Damien Oliver rides.

SIMON MOY (Super Racing)

ANGELIC LASS

Race 5, No. 3

Came away with nothing from disappointing Tasmanian campaign in February, but don’t let that deter. Returns on the back of two recent trial wins and has won on this track. Has definite prospects if she finds best and worth an each-way investment.

BALAKLAVA

LINCOLN MOORE (The Advertiser)

CLUB MAHAR

Race 4, No. 6

Two runs back from a spell have been very good and she gave rivals a massive start before taking plenty of late ground off the winner here last time. Looks ready to fire and gets her chance.
