NRL stars’ incredible reveal after toilet tryst scandal
NRL stars Millie Boyle and Adam Elliott have posted a photo together, revealing a romantic twist to their “innocent kiss”.
NRLW star Millie Boyle and former Bulldogs player Adam Elliott have come forward to announce they are in a committed relationship.
The pair became embroiled in scandal after a Gold Coast toilet tryst played out in public and ultimately resulted in Elliott agreeing to have his contract with Canterbury torn up.
Boyle, who plays for the Broncos and is a popular figure on Instagram, was reprimanded by the NRL and ordered to undergo training about her responsibilities to the game’s image as a high profile star — despite remaining adamant the toilet tryst was nothing more than an “innocent kiss”.

Elliott was fined and suspended by the Bulldogs for the rest of the NRL season in August.
It was revealed at the time Elliott was escorted out of a restaurant when discovered in the men’s bathroom with Boyle, where they shared a kiss.
Elliott and Boyle were reported to have locked themselves in a toilet cubicle before Elliott was forced to leave without his shirt on.
Elliott in September agreed to have his two-year, $1 million contract torn up, but was reported to have received a $100,000 payment in exchange for the early termination of his contract. The club has not confirmed the payment publicly.
It has now emerged that his departure from the club is far from the end to the story.
Elliott this week signed a career-saving deal with the Canberra Raiders.
The Daily Telegraph reports the one-year deal is worth $200,000.
Off the field, the situation has taken an extraordinary turn with Boyle confirming they are now dating in a photo posted to Instagram.
Her caption of the photo appeared to make a light-hearted reference to Elliott’s previous contract with the Bulldogs.
“Lost a milli. gained a Millie,” she wrote for her 26,000 Instagram followers.
Her post was flooded with congratulations from figures in Australian sport, including Erin Molan, Wallabies star Reece Hodge, Broncos legend Ali Brigginshaw, motorsport TV presenter Riana Crehan, boxer Ebanie Bridges and Olympics diving legend Melissa Wu.
The 23-year-old has told The Daily Telegraph the couple will try and make their relationship work via long distance with Elliott moving to Canberra while she remains in Brisbane.
“I’m normally private with this sort of stuff,” Millie said. “But we are together. I explained at the time we were both single and mates from a long time ago.
“Adam is now playing in Canberra and I’ll be in Brisbane. We’ll see how we go from a long distance. Hopefully Covid allows us to catch up. I’ll watch some of his games and he can come and watch mine.”
Elliott has undergone alcohol counselling this year after an incident in the pre-season involving former teammate Michael Lichaa and Lichaa’s fiancee.
In 2018, Elliott was fined $25,000 when he and teammate Asipeli Fine were charged with wilful and obscene exposure during the Bulldogs’ Mad Monday celebrations.
After suffering a season-ending shoulder injury midway through 2020, Elliott made 18 appearances for the Bulldogs this season and played his 100th NRL game against the Warriors in Round 22.
