NRL star Tom Burgess’ model fiancee fires up over nightclub photo

NRL player Tom Burgess was snapped sitting next to a mystery blonde at Sin City on the Gold Coast and his partner has weighed in.

Tahli Giumelli, the fiancee of Rabbitohs player Tom Burgess, has hit back after photos of him talking to an unknown woman in a Gold Coast nightclub were taken.

The Daily Telegraph reports Burgess, the younger brother of former South Sydney players Sam and Luke and the twin of George, attended Sin City in the early hours of Saturday morning after his team’s 40-30 win against the Titans on Friday night.

Burgess and his crew settled in a private booth at the establishment famous for its lingerie waitresses and was snapped by another clubgoer chatting with a mystery blonde.

Giumelli, who is mother to Burgess’ two-year-old daughter Sophie and five-month-old Elodie and is currently planning their wedding, responded to the images on social media on Sunday.

The 28-year-old had no problem with what her partner was doing and hit out that the pictures were published.

“God forbid a female sits next to Tom on a night out with his entire team,” she wrote. “Would this same article be written about me if I was sat next to a guy on a night out?”

Credit to Tom, he was back playing doting daddy when he landed back in Sydney over the weekend.

Giumelli posted a photograph of the 28-year-old sitting with daughter Sophie at a Wiggles concert, writing: “I’m not sure who’s more interested in the show.”

The couple recently purchased a $2.61 million four-bedroom home in Woolooware in NSW’s Sutherland Shire, which they described as their “forever home”.

Tom and Tahlia announced their engagement in December, 2019, and are discreetly planning their nuptials.

“We’re keeping the date and location to ourselves. We want the day to be as low key and private as possible,” Giumelli said recently. “This day is really for our girls. Tom and I are committed to each other. We’ve got two kids, the house and the dog. Our wedding is really for our kids to show them how committed we are. We are so excited to have the girls there. They will be flower girls.”
