Aussie players clash with England fan in the stands after sledge
Marnus Labuschagne and Usman Khawaja have put a chirpy England fan in his place after he sledged the Aussies right in their face.
There must be something in the water in London.
The Aussies were subjected to more sledging from an England fan as they made their way off the field after day three.
Video on social media shows an Englishman yelling “boring” at virtually every Australian player as they walked up the stairs back to their dressing room at The Oval.
Hearing the barb, Marnus Labuschagne turned his head towards the fan and said: “Hey, what did you say mate?”
Khawaja then told the culprit: “Calm down, calm down.”
The man changed his tune quickly, saying: “I apologise.”
Labuschagne wasn’t happy, replying: “Well you just had a go at everyone else.”
Khawaja defused the situation, escorting Labuschagne up the stairs.
Not quite the MCC Long Room at Lords. But @marnus3cricket and @Uz_Khawaja clearly not happy with this Englishman at the end of a frustrating day 3 for the Aussies! #boring#Ashes#ENGvsAUSpic.twitter.com/i0m5wM8bUY

Adam Gilchrist also took issue with the England supporters earlier in the day after they were seen mocking Mitchell Starc after he dropped a catch over the boundary rope.
Gilchrist tweeted “grown men” – an apparent attack on the culprits in the crowd.
Ricky Ponting was also hit with grapes while broadcasting from the side of the field earlier in the match.
Sky Sports host Ian Ward tried to laugh off the situation, but Ponting wouldn’t let it lie.
The Australian cricket legend, almost shaking in rage, said: “I’ve just been hit by a grape.
“I wouldn’t mind finding out who that was actually.”
Khawaja has said he wouldn’t bring his family to a match anymore after the members who verbally abused Australian players during the Second Test at Lord’s were slammed for bringing “shame” on the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).
