‘Stop that’: Tattoo humiliation completes Jake Paul victory
While the world still seems split on Jake Paul as a boxer, the YouTube superstar dropped one final embarrassment on Tyron Woodley.
Is Jake Paul a real boxer now?
The YouTube star moved to 4-0 in his pro boxing career, adding former UFC champion Tyron Woodley to the list of YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA player Nate Robinson and ex-UFC fighter Ben Askren.

But the 39-year-old retired MMA champ gave him the hardest fight of his fledgling career so far, with Paul claiming a split decision 77-75, 75-77 and 76-72 in the eight-round match up.
Although questions will still be asked if Paul is indeed the real deal having yet to fight a full-time boxer in the ring, he has started his career without blemish as yet.
While it wouldn’t be boxing without both men claiming victory after a split decision and Paul calling the one card that had him losing “bulls***”, Woodley immediately called for a rematch — something Paul appeared to agree to on one condition.
In a press conference last month, Woodley agreed to an extra bet from Paul that the loser would get “I love Jake Paul” or “I love Tyron Woodley” tattooed on them.
They shook on it, and now it looks like the only way for them to go around one more time.
Woodley was fuming after the fight, particularly the card that gave him just two of the eight rounds.
“If there was a second pay-per view I think round two would be bigger than that,” Woodley said. “I feel like I won the fight, I feel like Jake is a great opponent, I didn’t expect him to go down.
“The fact that one judge gave me two rounds is laughable. No disrespect but f*** the Fury fight, me and Jake need to run it back. Off the top I want an instant rematch. Nobody going to sell a pay-per view like we did. I felt like I won the fight, I hit him, the ropes held him up, I landed more power shots. When he landed shots, they hit my glove. When he landed clean shots, which he did, I didn’t hit the ground like his other opponents, I walked him down and I landed back. So let’s run it back.”
Asked if it interested him, Paul started to brush Woodley off.
“Of course he wants to payday,” he said. “You had your opportunity.”
Woodley grabbed the mic: “So you don’t want to fight me again.”
Jake’s brother Logan interjected: “You old news fam.”
“You had your chance,” Jake reiterated. “I was nothing but respectful to you right now.
“If you get the tattoo ‘I love Jake Paul’ lets run it back.”
Woodley: “Deal.”
The pair shook and Paul said: “Get the tattoo and let’s run it back.”
“We’ve got the tattoo artist right here so you ain’t going nowhere. Wipe the sweat off and shave that leg because I’m putting ‘I love Jake Paul’ on you f***ing today and then we can run it back.”
The Woodley camp called for a contract before the tattoo would be done.
In the press conference, Woodley admitted if the rematch was going to happen, he’d get the tattoo “somewhere where I don’t have to look at that b****”, saying it would probably be on his thigh.
“I need to see some paperwork on the rematch s***,” he said. “I think that’s the game plan.
“He gave me his word and he hasn’t did me wrong since so I kinda got to roll with him on that. He’s honoured everything he’s said to me since the beginning with this whole promotion thing.”
Paul said that if Woodley wants a rematch, he best get to a tattoo parlour because he has big plans.
“No one is doing this big a fights four fights in boxing history, ever,” he said. “No one watched Floyd’s fourth fight, Canelo fought a guy who was 0-0 in his 10th fight. I’m taking on world champions, five time UFC champions in my fourth fight, selling out arenas in my home town.
“If Tyron Woodley gets the tattoo, he better get it fast because otherwise we’re going to book another opponent. I told him, if he wants to get the tattoo, put it on his Instagram — permanent tattoo — then we’ll talk about it. But to be honest, I won convincingly.”
But while it seems like Woodley is serious, many fans thought he should just give it away and avoid more embarrassment.
Woodley demanding a rematch. Stop that. I watched this. I have no interest in a rematch whatsoever. Woodley won one round legit, maybe 2-3 max. Stop that. #boxing#PaulWoodley

It’s unknown whether Conor McGregor was watching the fight but his one word tweet set tongues wagging.

Whether a Woodley rematch is next for Paul or the much vaunted Tommy Fury match up, or something completely left field (Conor McGregor anyone), it’s anyone’s guess at this stage.
