Floyd Mayweather confirms shock comeback fight against YouTube star Logan Paul
Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has agreed to once again come out of retirement and face a YouTube sensation in the ring.
Hall of Fame boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has agreed to come of retirement and take on YouTube star Logan Paul in an exhibition bout at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium in early June.
Mayweather has “retired” several times, but they don’t call him “Money” for nothing, as he looks to be chasing another payday with an easy scalp.

The five-weight division world champion fought Andre Berto in 2015 after his superfight against Manny Pacquiao that same year, which looked like it would draw the curtain on Mayweather’s career.
But he famously fought UFC star Conor McGregor in 2017 and took part in a bizarre clash against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa on New Year’s Eve in 2018, knocking him down three times en route to a first round stoppage in their exhibition bout.
Mayweather will now make his long-awaited return on June 6 local time, with the elder Paul brother his next opponent.
The 43-year-old American boasts an unblemished 50-0 career record.

No issue with Floyd/Paul. Mayweather is retired -- has been for nearly four years now. If he wants to come back, spar a little, make some money in a fight he has zero chance of losing, more power to him. He built his brand. He is just capitalizing on it.

Mayweather and Paul were initially set to face off in February, but the exhibition bout was postponed.
“The Mayweather fight is pushed (back) which I am completely OK with,” Paul said in February.
“The fight’s still happening (but) we want to have a packed arena somewhere and then the business side of things, we have to iron them out.
“He’s got a lot of people on his team, (his advisor) Al Haymon got involved, if you know boxing, you know what that means for getting an actual deal done and figuring out a venue.”
Paul has amassed more than 20 million YouTube subscribers and rose to fame by uploading his own comedy sketches and video blogs.
The 26-year-old has twice fought fellow YouTuber KSI, the first bout ending in a majority draw before KSI won the rematch by split decision.
Paul’s younger brother Jake has also taken to boxing and embarrassed MMA veteran Ben Askren last weekend, knocking out his opponent in the first round at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
