The next day, Oubre Jr., 27, was hit by a vehicle in Center City while walking near his home, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

In a series of follow-up tweets, Wojnarowski said that Oubre Jr. is “expected to miss significant time due to his injuries, but those aren’t considered to be season-ending.”

The extent of his injuries has not been revealed.

Team representatives were with Oubre Jr. at the hospital, including 76ers President Daryl Morey.

The team also released a statement.

“Kelly Oubre Jr. was a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle tonight in Center City, Philadelphia,” the 76ers said in a statement.

“He is currently in stable condition and being treated at a local hospital.”

He recorded 26 minutes of playing time.

So far this season for the 76ers, Oubre Jr. is averaging 16.3 points per game.
