Jimmy Butler mercilessly shuts down NBA heckler in middle of game

An NBA fan has been left red-faced after pleading with Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler to save a bet he had placed on the game.

The Miami Heat star emphatically dealt with a courtside heckler in the middle of a game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

A courtside fan had Butler in a multi and needed the superstar to score at least 20 points, so desperate was he for the ticket to cash he pleaded with the player mid-contest.

As Butler made his way into the corner of the court, the fan began begging.

The Heat guard couldn’t have cared less and was quick to point out just how little sympathy he had for the fan before shutting him down with a savage reveal over how much money he has.

“20 man, score for me. Jimmy I gotta pay my mortgage,” the fan states.

Butler, cold as can be, responds: “I don’t give a f***. I paid mine. I bought my house with cash.”

Butler proved he really didn't care for the man or his bet as he finished the contest with 15 points to his name after shooting 5 of 13 from the floor.

The Heat won the contest 108-102 and currently sit seventh in the Eastern Conference with a 4-4 record to start the season.

LeBron James is arguably the GOAT of the NBA with his 21-year career seeing him break all kinds of records.

He’s the all-time leading scorer, having surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s mark last season. He’s on track to become the first player ever selected to 20 All-Star games.

On the all-time assists list he currently sits fourth while he’s fifth on all-time triple-doubles. The list of achievements is truly absurd, on Saturday however he claimed a piece of history that no player ever wants.

Back in 2021 James became the league’s all-time leader in turnovers after he went past Karl Malone’s mark of 4525.

Against the Phoenix Suns he extended his margin atop the leaderboard by becoming the first player to ever record 5000 turnovers.

In the grand scheme of his illustrious career the statistic matters little and does nothing to take away his claim as the greatest player to ever grace the hardwood.

In his 21st season in the league James has shown no signs of slowing down his otherworldly displays as he delivered his latest masterclass to carry the Lakers over the Suns 122-119.

After a knock to his lower left leg had him hobbing briefly in the first quarter, the 38-year-old superstar settled in and produced another age-defying performance, helping the Lakers snap a three-game losing streak.

He finished with 32 points as he connected on 11 of 17 shots from the field, including three of four from three-point range. He added 11 rebounds and six assists.

“It feels great because it’s an in-season tournament win and we’ll take that,” James told broadcaster ESPN after the game.

“We’ll take that for sure. Y’all heard there’s 500,000 (dollars) on the line, so we’re going for that. We’re going for that.”
