Simmons gave his followers a glimpse into his family life as he launched an Instagram live chat with Sean Tribe — but his half-brother didn’t know what was coming.
An excited Simmons broadcast the social media interaction with Tribe, who shared the frame with his partner and young child, as the NBA gun walked towards his garage.
“I’ve got to show you something. You know I love cars,” Simmons said, before opening the door and unveiling a shiny, black four-wheeler. “So that’s your car. It’s all yours man.
“I appreciate all your hard work and everything you do for me, man.
“Whenever you’re ready you can come and pick this up.
“Baby friendly. Originally I was thinking a two-door …”
The birthday present was overwhelming for an emotional Tribe, who couldn’t hold back the tears as he thanked Simmons for going above and beyond.
Tribe also broke out into laughter, taken by surprise by his brother’s generosity.
“Stop it,” he said. “Why would you go and do something like that?
“That’s so awesome. Bro, you didn’t have to do that. I really appreciate that.
“Oh my god, that is so amazing. That is above and beyond whatever you have to do. That’s crazy.
“You didn’t have to do that. I appreciate it. Thankyou so much.”
“I got you crying on the live?!” Simmons exclaimed as Tribe wiped away tears. “He’s crying on the live!”

Simmons unfortunately missed the weekend’s NBA All-Star game after having his hair cut by a barber who tested positive to COVID-19.
Simmons’ dreams of a third NBA All-Star appearance were dashed when league officials ruled him and 76ers teammate Joel Embiid out of the annual clash.
The barber, located in the Philadelphia area, tested positive after undergoing additional testing on the weekend because of an inconclusive positive test.
