America loses it over Yankees star Aaron Judge’s tiny water bottle

One of baseball’s biggest stars has seen America erupt with jokes after he was made to look like an absolute giant on national TV.

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge has gone viral after the big hitting slugger was snapped making a bottle of water look insignificant in his hands.

The hilarious moment came early in the Yankees’ 6-4 loss to the Baltimore Orioles, a surprising result considering Judge slammed two home runs.

The performance took Judge’s season tally to 17 home runs, a lead of five over the next best in Houston’s Yordan Alvarez and LA’s Mike Trout on 12.

Early in the first inning, Judge hit his first home run before celebrating with a drink of water in the dugout.

Now the 30-year-old Judge is a big unit at 201cm (6’7) and 128kg but the image made him look like an actual giant as his hand engulfed the tiny bottle.

It sparked comparisons to legendary wrestler Andre the Giant, the 224cm, 236kg wrestling legend who made a full-sized beer can look like positively tiny in his gigantic hands.

Although it appears to be Poland Spring’s 500mL bottle, fans were quick to point out that the bottle was somewhat mangled, while others believed that it must have been photoshopped.

There were also giant quips to some which ended up on the more risque end of the spectrum (we’ll leave that up to your imagination).

Regardless, the posts have attracted thousands of comments and engagements on social media.

Sports broadcaster Grant Paulsen tweeted: “If this is a regular size water bottle, Aaron Judge has the hands of Andre the Giant.”

The Talkin’ Yanks podcast posted: “Water bottle didn’t stand a chance against judge”.

Barstool Sports added: “Aaron Judge with a normal sized water bottle is absurd”.

Caesars Sportsbook replied: “NFL GMs lining up to call Aaron Judge after seeing his hand size.”

And even more hilariously, it wasn’t the first time Judge had been snapped making a bottle look child-sized.

It also follows in the footsteps of the likes of NBA star Tacko Fall and basketball legend Yao Ming as big guys who make the world look tiny.

Welcome to the club Aaron Judge.
