Ashcroft to make his AFL debut

It comes as no great surprise, but Brisbane Lions coach Chris Fagan has confirmed that father-son pick Will Ashcroft will make his AFL debut on the opening weekend of the season.

Hawks, Port sign delisted free agents

Two footballers have found new homes on the opening day of the AFL’s delisted free agency period, with Hawthorn and Port Adelaide adding to their playing list.
