Port Adelaide’s Connor Rozee had a season to remember on the field, but his latest off-field move may just have been his best.

The 23-year-old star claiming his second straight All-Australian blazer and finished in the top 10 for the Brownlow Medal with 21 votes as he continued to prove himself among the elite midfielders in the competition.

Although the season didn’t end in the ideal fashion as Port Adelaide suffered a straight sets exit after losses to the Brisbane Lions and GWS Giants, his personal life has appeared to go from strength after he announced his engagement to his partner of three-years Maisie Packer.

Packer commented: “So grateful.”

The page replied: “It’s perfect for you. Our newest jeweller did the best job.”

Rozee capped a strong season on the field with a second placed finished in the club’s best and fairest behind Zak Butters. Rozee had won the award in 2022.

Rozee has kicked 98 goals in 106 games since joining Port Adelaide when he was drafted with the No. 5 pick of the 2018 AFL Draft.

Maisie is one of the daughters of Seb Packer, managing director of Packers South Australia, a manufacturer of aluminium windows and doors.
