The first - his point after the final siren in the 1996 preliminary final against Essendon that sent the Swans through to their first grand final since moving to the harbour city in 1982. The second came in 1999 when he broke Gordon Coventry's record of 1299 career goals.

Barry Hall was another former Saint who captured the hearts and minds of Swans fans, especially when he lifted the 2005 premiership cup with Paul Roos.

Michael O'Loughlin was another who captivated the Swans fans like few others with his mercurial skills and durability, which saw him hold the club games record of 303 before Adam Goodes surpassed the mark earlier this year.

Who could forget the high-flying antics of Warwick Capper, who electrified the SCG crowd and produced some unforgettable performances?

Capper kicked 92 goals in '86 and 103 goals in '87 at the zenith of his career.

Tony Morwood played 229 games for the Swans and kicked 397 goals in a stellar career in the '70s and '80s.
