Photos emerge of Mitch Robinson and accused attempted murderer, US rapper Blueface

An Australian footballer has posed with a rapper arrested this week over charges of attempted murder with a deadly weapon.

Retired AFL star Mitch Robinson has posed for a photo with rapper Blueface.

The American artist was on Wednesday arrested over charges of attempted murder with a deadly weapon.

Photos posted by Robinson on Instagram show him alongside the Los-Angeles-based performer, whose real name is Jonathan Porter.

Video obtained by TMZ showed the moment undercover police officers arrested Blueface in Las Vegas as he was sitting on a bench outside a Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles. The arrest is in relation to a shooting that occurred in the city last month, police said.

The Herald Sun first reported Robinson’s photo was taken during the 33-year-old’s overseas holiday with former teammates.

The Brisbane Lions midfielder retired in September and accused coach Chris Fagan of denying him a chance to tell his teammates and fans.

“I booked a last minute trip to the states, I somehow got the green light off the missus to go over just after the Lions Best and Fairest,” Robinson said in a YouTube clip on his personal channel.

“I hopped on a long ass 13 hour flight to LA by myself to catch the lads for a few nights, watched some Basketball then ended up at Las Vegas.”

Robinson joined the Lions in 2014 after being delisted by Carlton and would go on to play 147 senior games for the club.

He previously played 100 games for the Blues after making his AFL debut in 2009, kicking 139 goals over 14 seasons for both clubs.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old rapper was accused of domestic violence by his girlfriend.
